Noah was an extra good boy this entire week. So, his Nana decided he needed a little treat. How little? George Washington little. But to Noah, it was worth way more!
It's a Friday night with nothing to do, so we pack up and take the family to Target. We love Target. During the Holiday seasons, they have an entire $1 shopping section. It is stuffed full of extremely random items, but to a kid, it's like finding treasure.
Noah barreled through the bins. Every two seconds he would shout, "AHH COOL! DAD, LOOK AT THIS!!". His eyes were huge as he held each random object (bottle openers, pencil sharpeners, note pads, staplers, yoohoo mix, etc).
All the while, my sweet little Hannah gazed at all the bright colors. She intently watched her big brother as he tried to decide what he would spend his dollar bill on.
....and what did he decide to buy? A snow hat. In Houston. The hottest winter to date. To each his own, eh? He tried on a few different options....
Being the softies that Kelly and I are, we told Noah he could go over to the toy section and pick out an actual toy. This is what he did, RAN. It's the only speed he knows...
I think he stared at this toy for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, Mom took Hannah to the clothing section and bought her a new sweater. Girls gotta' shop!
And of course, we couldn't leave the store without causing a little bit of trouble!
Christmas is almost here and I love experiencing it with my children. The only thing missing is cold weather!
